I have been getting a lot of questions about directory submission lately. I think the best 3 directory websites in order are dmoz.org, dir.yahoo.com, and botw.org. It seems like all that you have to do to accepted into dir.yahoo.com and botw.org is just pay money. However, dmoz.org is a lot harder to accepted into. Lately, it seems like everyone who applies gets turned down. I think the easiest way to get a site into dmoz is by purchasing an expired domain that is already in the directory.
